£7000 Welsh sign to be replaced following the highlighting of translation errors
This is a fine example of the errors that can occur when a sign company doesn't use a reputable translation service.
A member of the public used a black marker pen to circle misspelled words on the sign at Alyn Waters Country Park in Gwersyllt. The person also scribbled "OFNADWY!!" on the sign which is Welsh for awful. The errors were then shared on Twitter by Neil Wyn Jones who spotted the corrections.
A Wrexham Council spokesperson said: "We are aware of the issue and will be replacing the signs with a version containing the correct Welsh translation".

The results of the above translation are "I walked in the park thirty thirty with my dog and my neighbor".
